My day at the beach

After 3hrs of twisty roads we finally made it to doggy heaven!....miles and miles of lovely sandy beaches. No one else to bother us....so I got to roam around free...no lead....heaven indeed!
Just sand and water....ah yes...the water!, well I am a Spaniel! We finally got home at 7 o'clock. Two hours after my tea time. They took a picnic but forgot mine!....I was starving with all that exercise.

What on earth are these things, they get in my mouth, up my nose and other unmentionable places that I can't scratch.They are worse than fleas.....I should know I had them last year. Honestly what a panic there was. It was off to the vet pronto...followed by the needle....shampoos galore and sprays!!!....I can't help it if I'm so popular!
Talking about being popular, guess who came to see me?.....two nights on the trot.....Wanda no less! How's that for 'sex' appeal!
We went for a late night swim....chaperoned of course! Oh well I can dream!!

Home alone

Yes they left me all on my own, just with the radio on for company.
Went on the ferry to meet some friends....and what is wrong with me may I ask. They muttered something about not being able to take me into a cafe. Okay I'll let them off this time, these occurrences are quite rare. Just as well or I would get a complex.
Mamma J did take me for a walk....yes a WALK at 7am!.....was it a miracle or was it guilt at the thought of having to leave me!!....whatever...I enjoyed this very rare experience.
I noticed they brought home 2 bags of food for me....was it on offer or are we storing up for some impending disaster? They don't discuss these matters with me....I just have to guess!

Here we go again!

Humans are so funny, they hit a wee white ball for miles just looking for a hole....me I just dig a hole and bury it.
HRHTC wasn't very friendly yesterday, she had other things on her mind like a visit to the vet!....but she did leave me some of her dinner so I guess I can't complain.
Boy was it hot but I had the best seat in the car, I just laid out on the back seat with all windows open and enjoyed the breeze. Best of all we stopped for an ice-cream on the way home.
